My mom was in a waiting room for a hearing test with me and my cousin. Then my cousin was whispering to us and saying that the guy across from us was Herb Chambers. He was then called in and the nurse said “Mr. Chambers” we were silently freaking out. the amount of people thinking they can win a knife fight because they can duck on movement is staggering. 90% of stabs occur within 1 second of the attacker coming within 1 meter of hi target. 80% of the time the knife is hidden and 98% of the time the attack is multiple thrusts to the chest, no slashes and serial killer like inverted knife grip. These statistics might be rusty but I saw a couple of studies on them a couple years back when trying to tell a guy to fucking run in a knife fight as he wouldn't stand a chance trying to counter attack.
